My first shot at a montage, sorry for the bad quality on a few clips. Those were captured using a different method.

Almost every medal, kill, shot, and transition is synchronized with the music, I tried my best to make it all match perfectly. You won't find a lot of overkills, across the map sticks, and other exaggerated kill like that because to me, solid and consistent gameplay is much better than getting lucky with kills. I've seen montages where it seems like people go out of their way to try and no scope people the whole match, my clips are spur of the moment, quick reflexed kills. I wasn't trying to pull anything off but win the game using what I'm capable of, not getting lucky.

  • Read your description and I highly agree with you. This is a real montage. I have toyed with my capture card and judging by the ugly motion blur in your clips, I'm assuming you used Mpeg rendering. I find DivX avi Rendering to be the best. You're one of the few besides me who fit the action to the beats of music. I discovered you from Bungie Montage Thread, please return the favor and Rate 'n' comment my Halo3 work, Thanks

  • thanks dude.

good observation, I used Dvd to MPG to convert my disc from my camera that I used to capture from. Quality got extremely downgraded but you can see in a few clips that I found a different way to capture straight from my xbox.

I'll check out your montage, thanks.

  • host?? > or dont you have lead when you are non-host in halo 3??

  • what? I don't know whether I had host or not.

  • host = when you run a server..

    then you have 0 ping..

    so 0 lead.

/lead= (in halo1) that you need to predict .. /sec where your opponent is gonna stand and shoot at that point..

/ I have halo 3 but not live..

/ So my question was... Do you have lead if you don't run a server?

    /I'm peoplekillers

  • dude, host is determined at random. Halo 1 required some major leading, especially for sniping. Halo 3 is nearly perfect if you have a good connection, not much leading at all....and you don't run servers, you just get matched up and someone is randomly selected to be host, there's no way you know during the game if you are unless you test a few things to see if you are.

  • very nice tage, solid gameplay, skills displayed not a lot of just "holy shit lucky bastard killed me" moments which is good

  • aight thanks.. :P i luf you (K)

    halo 1 -skills needed

    halo 2 -nothing special

halo 3 -better graphics, weapons etc

im going for the skills.. XD

  • i used a capture card, exact model i dont remember. most of the clips were transferred from a camera though.

as for the other thing, its not true. unless theres some kind of new mod thing or something then no.

  • hey what did you use for capture?

ANYONE: IS IT TRUE YOU CAN TRANSFER THE CLIP DIRECTLY FROM YOUR XBOX TO YOUR PC WITH SOME KIND OF HALO'S BUILT IN?
