What a heart warming passage, right? All you do is pick and choose the "good" passages you find and simply ignore the hateful ones until they suit you when the circumstances are correct. Your argument makes no sense whatsoever. Some people prefer proof, and you have offered not a shred thereof.

So it was 'necessary' - in other words, supposedly OMNIPOTENT Jehovah COULDN'T cleanse mankind's soul without it? However you answer this challenge, your theology has problems... either: Jehovah CAN'T which makes him NOT omnipotent, He WANTED to do it this way for the attention making him a sadistic drama queen or He WANTED to do it because he loves the pain and suffering... making him a sadistic monster. Which is it?

It's more this way:

The Omnipotent (God) has absolute standards that all must adhere to, i.e. following physical. moral & spiritual laws that are intended for our own well being. Obviously, we have not chosen correctly.

The death was a part of Himself, not His total being. Plus, it demonstrates His love & mercy for us (His creation).

Also, that death was necessary to cleanse mankind's souls and hence enter into the paradise which was intended for us in the beginning.

Where is the debunking. All I heard was FUD. I'm reminded of the scene in Billy Madison... "what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. I just wasted four minutes and fifty-one seconds of my life on that video. I reject myth and superstition. Especially from a book that is vile and has no relevance in an age of logic and reason. How easily we forget that humans now how the power to destroy the earth many times over. That's one more thing your imaginary god is supposed to be able to do and that we can do as well.
