@JackieDeBurg Means I am so turned on by her young-looking, longer-than-mine-but-I-wish-MI
NE-were-longer-than-hers arms! -
@Wolfgurl803 Marry me? :D
-
@Wolfgurl803 I think if Andrew Lloyd Webber was okay with her, then it's safe to say she was a good choice.
-
@wildmanchris200 ...what does this mean?
-
hi christine :3 XD rofl
-
She smells like SPIT with those long arms, goddammit

Oh for goodness sake, drop the superior act; its pathetic. I did not imply that in any way and you know it! I'm simply making a point. There are actual requirements for the character of Christine. Look them up. And I think you'll find that I couldn't be more open minded; just simply unimpressed by Rossum's mediocre portrayal.

@Wolfgurl803 lol.... technical reasons why eh? Again there's the puritanical nonsense. As if there is only one way to sing. The film incarnation of Phantom wasn't meant to be some great operatic extravaganza. They made it much more subtle with a different feel and fresh perspective. In that context Emmy was great IN MY OPINION. If this became the new lineup for a stage production then thats another issue. But stick to your closed dogmatic criteria for what makes a good this or that. Have fun.

Close minded? I'm extremely insulted by that.
It's only my opinion. However I must express how there is actual fact to my words. Emmy Rossum does not have a strong enough voice to play Christine. A friend of mine explained to me the technical reasons why, (and I apologise for not being able to recall them now).
I didn't comment on her beauty at all, so no, it isn't 'relative'.

@Wolfgurl803 Well, you sound a bit too puritanical and closed minded about that... but to each their own. The bitch of subjective experience is that what we term "good" or "beautiful" is completely relative.
Emmy is a sweet heart. She is a good role model for young girls so look outside the box here...
