THE PEOPLE vs. GEORGE LUCAS has been selected for the prestigious Spotlight Premiere section at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, Texas, which runs from March 12th to 21st 2010. "The team is ecstatic to be screening at SXSW for the film's world premiere," says Director Alexandre O. Philippe, "it's the ideal platform for our launch, as the festival brings together indie films, music and interactive in a unique way that very much reflects the participatory nature of our doc."

the whay that lucas thinks:

a precuel that sucks but makes money= an awesome well done movie

accepting that he made a mistake with the precuels = risking to lose money with precuels related proyects

people who feels disapointed by the precuels (like me)= people who never liked starwars and hate him cus they are jealouse of him

people who doesnt whant to spend money on the dvds and blue ray cus of the stupid changes = people who hates the original trilogy and whant to screw those 3 movies.

@stargazer4atime except that the EU, Luke DOES form the Jedi School in the old Base of Yavin IV, Leia marries Han, DOES go through Jedi training, but is too busy as a diplomat to complete it at first, has twins, Jacen and Jaina, both of whom become Jedi Knights, then Luke marries former Imperial Agent, Mara Jade and have a son named Ben, then a new alien force comes from beyond the stars, Chewie dies, as does Leia's 3rd child, Anakin, then many years later, her first son becomes Darth Caedus.
