Jeanne AUBERT (1900-1988) . French singer and actress. In the period 1925-1940 was a soloist of Théâtre de l'Abri, Folies-Bergère, Casino de Paris, ABC . „Merry Widow" with her participation in the season 1942/43 reached the number of 630 performances .
Sweet pink colour at the beginning of the clip is not accidental; I see her that way...:-)
With her delicate, soprano-like voice, she sings here a tango "If you return".

This song was sung also by Réda Caire. It was one of its big successes with "Les beaux dimanches de printemps ". I shall try to share his version. Thank you this version of the pretty Jeanne Aubert. =)
