Spanish composer Francisco Tarrega was born in 1852. His father played flamenco and other forms of music on a guitar, and Tarrega, fascinated by the beautiful sounds his father produced, took up the instrument at an early age. His output was low, some 78 original scores, but he is said to have created the foundation for classical guitar. He died in 1909 at the age of 57. Music is his "Adelita."
