@mark1585 I am a HUGE Seether fan & I think that's great that you were able to rock out to Seether jamming
for a full 250 miles as you broke in a new truck engine!! When I am driving I will listen to Seether also, almost
exclusively--even in my car, which is an old Camaro with no CD player, so I have to listen to them on my IPOD!

@mark1585 Love your reply--I agree with you 100%, it is not our place, as humans to judge others--we are
not God & all of us have our own sins & faults so who are we to stand above others. IMHO, I think part of the
song "No Jesus Christ" is about that specific message--specifically those people who judge others & publicly call out the failings of others! This is something that Amy Lee did to Shaun, that I believe must have been very painful to him!

@Elizabeth22413 only God knows Amy Lees heart. I don't know much about their past relationship. I drove 250 miles one night listening to the Seether's Debut Album braking in my new engine

@Elizabeth22413 Yeah i gave this a thumbs up. The Bible says they will know we are Christians by our love for people. Not; they will know we are Christians because we are rude judgmental hypocrites! i feel ya 100% Walking into a church building makes us Christians, like walking into a garage makes us cars.

@mark1585 This song is NOT a rejection of Christ--it is rather a rejection of those who hold themselves
above others as if they are not human & weak & fallible, like the rest of us & those that are hypocrites as
well & I'm pretty sure that at least part of the lyrics are meant (subliminally perhaps) as an indictment of
the treatment he rec'd from Amy Lee.

actually Shaun has said that no song on Finding Beauty on negative spaces has anything to do with Amy Lee. the only thing that does is the chorus from Breakdown
-
wat sal jou mamma daarvan sê?

actually the deal is he is telling 1 specific person off. that person wrote a song he was upset about and it became a number 1 hit i'm sure you've all heard the song "call me when you're sober" by evanesence well she wrote this song when he was in rehab which was suppose to be a secret and so it hit and he got mad and this song is his retort to her and if you LISTEN to the lyrics you will hear stuff like "you're verbal defication i cant wash this away to spite myself" says hey you trashed me wtf

What the hell? Shaun is NOT rejecting Christ in this song. When he says "You're no Jesus Christ", he's referring to someone trying to live up to Jesus. Know your shit before you say stuff about someone.

Love Seether. Definantly one of my all time favorite bands. I can't stand Shinedown, personally - and their lead singer live turns into a diva holding notes too long and shit.
