Sixth in a series of stop-motion painting clips by Carel Brest van Kempen. Probably Florida's most common reptile, the Brown Anole was introduced from Cuba. Original painting for sale at the Germanton Gallery Miniature Show www.germantongallery.com

  • Definitely an anole though the head/neck looks a little off to me. It's still a great piece. What's the white stuff that appears then fades away? Some kind of sealant? Around 0:42 on the fungus e.g.

  • @Velox415 Liquid latex to mask areas off. It becomes transparent as it dries. Look carefully and you'll see it being pulled off later.

  • looks more like an agamid but awsome painting

  • Glad you like the painting. I disagree with your ID. What kind of agamid???

  • You guys need to look at some reptiles before you start careers as critics. He nailed a male brown anole in this painting. The shape, the position, that cock of the head, everything's dead on.

  • dunno its just the head looks like an agamid :)

  • Very cool. Love the painting.

  • Cool and well done. Peace.
