I have fallen in love with the mountains ever since I have been there. Next for me were the Smokies in Tenn. Then came the Rockies in Colo. Next was Utah. Drove up one in snow as far as we could. Going back this spring to visit the canyons. The first one was this in in Texas storm and all. Great hike and fun.

Nice trip report. Your Dad had a hat and a vest for some protection. Did you have anything? Hat? Rain gear? I didn't see anyone else in your vid. Obviously, the weather kept them away.

How many miles was your hike? What was the name of the campground that you mentioned?

I enjoyed the vids. We've been caught in hail, lightning, wind, heavy rain - you name it - in them thar hills. Even had to hike down in the dark when it became too cold to stay on top ovenight. I love those mountains.
