de mi punto de vista esto trata de un parasito llamado mosca bot este deposita sus huevos por medio de un mosquito cuando este mosquito chuapa sangre el calor que irradia la puel provoca que se desprendan los huevos que trae consigo el mosco y caiendo en la piel estas larvas emergen del huevo para asi penetrar en la piel y hospedarse ahi hasta cieto periodo para despues salir y caer al suelo y asi cumplir su ciclo biologico de la mosca bot

Ugh... I remember my cats getting this alot when I was littler. And I live up here in Ohio, folks! URgh... Ugly little things. I always hated them, and when Mom took them out of the cats I always hid in the basement. ):

You should have put a tissue or something over it to suffocate the larvae. This makes it wriggle out a little bit. If you just pull, the spines lodge themselves into the dog.

Bot fly for sure. They are quite common in south and Central america. They only cause pain for about 2 weeks and then you remove them. They live in humans for about 6 weeks. Wear bug spray in the tropics. Now if you didn't take a trip with fido to South America and don't like in the South like Miami, then all bets are off.
