i remember that actually there must be
2 men or 1 man +2 women witnesses at least (Koran, bakara-282)
instead there are at least 100 people around, they write down and record their names on that book etc. so I'd say this is ok to be a wedding ritual. we usually do a couple of wedding ceremony. the same old hodja making the pray part and all... that ritual usually happens before this official wedding ceremony. but still i dont see why you dont approve of this one...

i dont understand what are you talking about..Here is turkey we are muslim but we are not arabic..
