Oprah Winfrey adopts a blonde cocker spaniel puppy Sadie from PAWS( Pets Are Worth Saving) a no kill animal shelter in Chicago. Oprah Winfrey a well known animal advocate has sponsored a room in honor of her cocker spaniel Sophie, who passed away last year.

  • I hope Sadie made it.  I have a black cocker named Sadie and I sing Sadie, Sandie, married lady to her.

  • So sad. I heard that Sadie is fighting for her life and poor Ivan passed on Saturday from Parvo. My heart goes out to Oprah.

    Hopefully this will open peoples eyes to the dangers of Parvo. I can't believe how many times I see people out in very public places with very, very young puppies. Just because puppies have gotten shots does NOT mean they have achieved immunity yet! PARVO is highly contagious and is DEADLY!! It can live in the soil for 2-3 years!
