Parascan boys play Quake 3 (1)

A recording of the Quake 3 sessions of the Parascan programming team circa 2001. Happy times. Uploaded for our nostalgia, but obviously people are free to comment on our Quake 3 skills (or lack thereof :-)

This particular one is from "The place of many deaths". One of our favourite levels due to its small and frantic nature. This is also the level which earned Camping Pete his name, due to his continual habit of camping at the top of the stairs and thus controlling both access to the rocket launcher and also the heavy armor respawn below. This game is REALLY close with me and Deadly Markham continually battling for first place.

This one is from my viewpoint, but a have a few where I am controlling the spectator cam. I will convert more as time allows and upload em so keep an eye for em lads.

I grabbed this using the unregistered version of Fraps which only allows 30 seconds clips. Therefore I had to stitch lots of clips together, so there is the occasional glitch at 30 second intervals.

I am highly peed off that after spending hours getting optimal codec settings for a decent quality, this travesty is the result after YouTube has transcoded it. :-(
