People need to stop thinking that their size is the most important thing, lol. There's a few 250cc bikes besides this one, but it is a great starter bike. If you're new to bikes then yes, ride it. You may feel tall if you're 6ft or so, but at least you wont kill yourself trying to learn how to ride it. If you really want the full size effect of a bike but maintain the 250cc to learn on, look up a Hyosung GT250R.

@almnop00 No I owned 2002 ZX6R and sold it in '06. Bought it new from Independence Kawasaki when I got hired on the KC Missouri Fire Department. Going fast with my friends was never the goal for me. Always liked the light weight better handling 250. I am an older married guy I do not need to llie and I have no idea who it would impress if I did. Have a good day man.

Rode a 250, feels terrible to have no power :/ Ended up buying a Gsxr 750 and it was perfect. Handled like a 600 but had that extra kick which made it easier to keep up with 1000's. I am 6'1 170lbs btw.
I'm roughly 6'3, 195lbs....
Does anyone know if I'll fit comfortably on this bike or if it'll be awkward?

@Ajedh I'm 6'1 160 and felt tall on it. It was comfortable, but always felt like it was a bit too small for me.

@helvetica34 im 6'2, so what kind of bike should i get then?

@heroes91092 I'm 6'1" 160lbs and felt like i was huge. After a few months I was wishing I had bought a 600. The only reason I did the 250 was because I thought I was too inexperienced for a larger, heavier bike. It's fun as hell though and you can hit the highway (mostly) comfortably. I have sold it since and am planning on getting a triumph thruxton for my next bike.
