Grunge by Digitech distortion pedal
I found these settings to be the best for rock/ metal. a nice think crunch with deep lows and good harmonics, with some zakk wylde style wah tricks lol
i also used a zoom 505 II for a filter as an extra boost

  • If you don't mind me asking...how much does the pedal cost?

  • 40-50

  • dude wat are the settings for the pedal

  • loud- 9 o clock

    high-3 o clock

    low-2 o clock

  • just because the pedal says fucking grunge on it doesn't mean the only thing you can play with it is grunge

you people all seriously need to pull the sticks out of your asses and stop taking everything so literally

  • Kurt cobain made catchy music that spoke to your ears just the way some music makes you want to dance. Sure it wasn't great guitar but his guitar playing on bleach is pretty good. It's not all about solos that's whateveryone defines as wicked guitar it isn't. There's talent musicians then there's dicks that play guitar. If it sounds good and not as complicated people get pissed.I'm better at guitar why isn't my song famous?people love kurt some don't know music.

  • How do I get John Mayer's tone for his guitar solos on the Zoom 505 ii?? Assuming I put the amp's/speakers' equalizer to LOW: 5/10, MID: 5/10, HIGH: 5/10. Thanks :D

  • @vai1991lob the zoom multi-effects processor is my favorite pedal of all time. I just wih zoom would redo their new pedals so that you can toggle through without changing the sound. I have bought 2 more from ebay because I love the zoom so much...

  • a question, can digitech grunge distorsion be riadapted for metal music?I just want your opinion. thx

    greets from Italy :D

  • @vai1991lob Your joking... Damn I hope I can find one.

  • Ahh,... I see FAB Distortion and Chorus there.,... I have the Metal (which sounds like a DS1 when set properly) and the Chorus,... Just two of this, and Im ready onstage,... :)

  • @jordanbassp Like his penis :P

  • you fuck up your guitar signal by putting a zoom 505II in the signal path. I'm saying it by my own experience. I've owned a zoom 505II for ten years and now I've finally maneged to retire it in order to use only separed pedals, one for each function. Man, it's a huge difference. Much more tone definition. If you put a zoom in the path, you mess up your signal because this Zoom 505II is very very far away from having at least an acceptable bypass. Put this way: the zoom 505II "eats" the signal.

  • Using this pedal for grunge is definitely not a requirement for ownership of it. In fact, Jesse Pintado (Napalm Death) used to endorse it. ;-)

  • by the way what kind of amp are you using,it looks like a crate!!i always loved those.

  • @vai1991lob yea people think because ,it says grunge ,they have to bring the grunge musical style,me personally,i also dont like grunge, but i also own this pedal, and has rich tones for great heavy metal sounds, even you can get lots of thrash metal riffs, solos, great work guy, some people think if you name a pedal "shit"they have to play like shit, its a little dumb,by the way that was a good demo.
