Persimmons are a great Autumn/Early Winter fruit. Here's a little info on this delicious snack.
Hachiya persimmon are loaded with vitamin A, manganese and copper.
Fuyu are loaded with vitamin C and iron.
Both have plenty of calories to fuel you with lots of energy on a low fat raw vegan diet.

  • Yumm.. I have just discovered this wonderful fruit. I was wondering if I can eat the skin, and found these delicious tips. Thanks!

  • @WhisperedTruth They are wonderful for sure! Yes, you can eat the skin. :0)

  • i loved these, they taste like a mix og peach and dates:) but they cost like 2,6dollars a pop here in iceland:/ so i cant get them alot

  • @DarlingKaya Yes, they're so good. Sorry to hear they're so expensive where you live. You'll just have to treat yourself to them once in a while when they're in season. :0)

  • Great information. Thank you. I've never had one of these before but I will definitely look into trying them. Nice vita-mixer in the background by the way. I have the same one myself. Banana/ date/ celery smoothies are my favorite : )

  • You're welcome. Persimmons are a real treat. The season is pretty much over now, but you may get lucky and find them somewhere, depending on where you're located.

Yes, I love my VitaMix. Don't know what I'd do without it!

  • I love how you compared the shape of the Hachiya to the Roma tomato. You're a genius!

  • Hey thanks for the vote for them. We have them for chump change for a case. I will try them out.

BTW if you got a sister...

  • @rawsynergytv There expensive here in scotland too :( weather most probally to cold to grow them here lol

arrrgh threw away the packet they came in ! dont know what kind my ones are, its orange in colour but not pumkin shaped

going to try and make a salad dressing with some of them :) thanks for the idea!

  • hello to criterions for no crying, pleased w/ obvious wait as by texture corrosive orally. yet oblivious weaving/knotting subtle digestion's no choice in long term well being. fruit's first practice of principle find tender time, so its softness's not for compromise or bargain consequence. skin's to be encouraged if edible since antioxidants are usually mostly there. if impatient can squeeze out saporous suppleness @ dish ready add, & split rind to cover opened avocado needing finish stage 2 etc

  • thank you so much for this video. I had a Fuyu persimmon today and it was wonderful, I loved it! and am now starting a relationship with Persimmon, lol!! yay raw!

  • MILFAGEEEE
