@lance2290 And the title of this older theme was "Porky's Signature," or simply "Porky Sig," as it was titled when it was registered by the ASCAP.
-
This earlier can be found in many of the cartoons including "Porky's Railroad", "Get Rich Quick Porky", "Daffy's Duck Hunt" and a few others, and it was featured on the CD "The Carl Stalling Project" entitled "Early WB Scores: The Depression Era" which was the third cut off the album.

theme is from "Porky in the north woods".
-
the theme is in 1937! cool!
-
This theme was used for a commercial block in classic Latin American boomerang, 2006

@artsygirl181 watch?v=ClJeDmUbgho (a LTGC upload)
The orchestration is a bit different, but you should get the idea. The theme used in the beginning of that cartoon was used until 1937.

@lance2290 This sounds nothing like the tunes they used in the 1930's - 1960's. To me, it sounds more like something Cartoon Network would have used in the 1990's.
-
@artsygirl181 This is the original intro music used for the Looney Tunes cartoons, used from the early to mid 1930s, before it was switched to the familiar theme "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down".
