copyright says 1976 so i think this was somewhere in mid production before john williams was selected to compose original music and theme song.

Motherfucker, no wonder nobody took this film seriously at first. Everyone I know who lived at that time always told me that when they first heard of it, they thought it was a failfest waiting to happen, but were totally blown away when the final product came out.

I stood in line in manhattan for nearly three hours to see STAR WARS, May 25th, 1977, 4 days before my 16th birthday. I was transported to the stars, on cloud nine, by a movie I have waited for since 1963. God Bless George Lucas. Thanks for not giving up, George. You and Steve Spielberg are my heroes!

I'll never forget that day, that day that changed my life. That saved my life. It's like George Lucas read my mind, and made the movie I've wanted to see since 1968.

@Beamshipcaptain Well I've never really liked Star Wars till now. I use to think it's stupid and now I've seen the first one and I love it!
