The Parker Wind Ensemble performing the Magnificent Seven Theme by Elmer Bernstein, arranged by Roy Phillipe. May 11, 2009.

The video you see was projected onto the walls of the auditorium during the performance.

From the program insert:
"The Magnificent Seven is a sprawling western action movie directed by John Sturges and it premiered in 1960. The film is about a group of hired gunmen that help protect a Mexican village from a ruthless group of marauding bandits. This movie is based on the classic 1954 Japanese film, The Seven Samurai. The film score by Elmer Bernstein was nominated for an Academy Award in 1961 and was listed as #8 on the American Film Institutes 100 Years of Film Scores. Curiously, this theme music was also used for many years in advertising for Marlboro cigarettes."
