I cried while watching this.
Why the hell can't humans think of some other way to entertain, if we're so smart?
Why do we need to take animals away from their habitats and use them for our own enjoyment?

i have many doubts as to whether the bears were treated properly, given the poor track record of russian circuses.

Wild animals should be in the WILD. It is very joyless to see the greatest land hunter playing such a ridiculous game of give me a treat and i give u a trick.

bears are intelligent as great apes. when you see apes, skating, its okay and liked it, but when it comes to polar bears, its the same. too bad the population of bears is so scarce, well hope they domesticate them and mass produce them and genetically modify them like dogs and sell them in petshops.

@thear675 But the same retort is just as applicable to your own analysis. We can all agree that we don't KNOW what we don't see, but we are certainly capable of making educated guesses based on the facts. Fact: Animals are regularly treated with cruelty that are in the circus. Fact: A polar bear on skates killed his trainer (with the skates) and then attacked another member of the circus (proof, that the animal was angry). Now why would an animal be angry that was being treated well?

°_° Now I've seen it all.. I mean, if polar bears can ice skate and balance on a big ball, what's to stop him from grabbing an AK47 robbing a bank with it and going to Switzerland to buy himself a mansion?
NOTHING IS STOPPING THEM! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD! These things will end up teaching US tricks like ice skating or standing on a big ball. OH the terror!
