My favorite recipie had some kind of nut in it. I don't know if was water chesnuts, pine nuts, or sunflower seeds but they had a GREAT crunch. What would you recommend?

Sometimes, fried rice noodle is used to get crunchyness and I also add sometimes, ground roasted peanut in my chinese recipes to get nutier flavor in background.
