The Jesus Christ of Mormonism has only the name in common with Christianity. They believe in multiple, actually infinite gods. Their goal is to become a God themselves and rule their own planets in the afterlife. It uses a re-telling of the Christ story with wild, wild stories about Elohim, Jesus and Lucifer on other planets.

That's in Genesis if you look under the chapter where the flood has ended. Genesis 9: 26-27 "...Cursed is Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant." I believe that is the answer to your question about the black people are cursed myth. And it's not just LDS (Mormons) myth. Before the 1900's it was a common belief among many religions.

Just dont tell me Lincoln was a Mormon. :D I find the religion in general interesting and fun to compare to my own (Christianity.) My favorite "fact" so far has been the time I was told that Lincoln was a Mormon.... Come on... Really? But that was one guy, I am sure the majority dont believe that, most Mormons I know are a little more educated than that. Anyone what to explain the black people are cursed myth to me?

@1993Kittens If you are a terrrorist, rapist, serial killer, or a domestic abuser then you are not born again. You were some of these things and now ye are saved and ye are washed. If you were some of these things and you are born again by the blood of Christ then no longer are you these things. I don't blame satan the bible says we are drawn away of our own lusts and enticed. Tired of this conversation. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes unto the father except through him. Joseph Smith was a liar and of his father the devil.
