Fourth and last video clip about how I make my puppets -
Adding skin and painting it. If you have any questions, just fire away in the "comments" section.
Music is "Niles Blues" and "Cold Funk" by Kevin MacLeod.

How do you make latex skin? or where can you get it?

Check out my video "Building a Stop Motion Monster: Making the Latex Skin", and you can see how I do that. You can buy liquid latex to make the skins in many hobby and art shops.

This is amazing puppet work my man! You should be out there with the professionals. Can't wait to see more of your puppet creations. Great job!

Thank you! I'd love to be able to do this for a living, but the world doesn't really care anymore. Professionally, there only seems to be assembly line jobs in digital visual effects, and I don't want to work like that. Hopefully the realm of "amateur" filmmaking will grow and find wider recognition in the consumer market.

    Hey, Richard (Bluworm)!

Your puppets are incredibly realistic. I really like all the details you add to them. :)

you should get into contact with Tom Burton, he seems to be liking this aspect of movie-making. or, if the trip isn't too overburdening, go check out ardman studios in london. they do the wallice and gromit films. ardman does work with placticene, but it's stop-motion all the same.

It looks like a cross between gigan and godzilla.
