@ammohead73 No Because it cost's 300e. So i bought a new Canon Legria fs-306 cost 200e. But im going to try fix it. Its doing that because the spinning LCD screen has one bad wire..... Search it on google. I finded that solution on there! Hope this helps!!!!

у меня такая же проблема! эта же камера. Перед этим был фотоаппарат Сони, тоже перестал работать экран!!!

@Wili63 i think the cable that gets connected to the camcorder is loose or broken. I have the same problem

Our sony handycam screen show's only white it hasnt dropped on ground of anything like that it just goed off and when i turned it back on the screen was white need help plx!!!!

Yerp same problem here on a DCR-SR190 but SONY want £179.00 to fix this - YEP Around $290.00US - half the original price of the Cam - anyone in Uk know where I can get this cheaper.....
