@rastonification, what makes ROF so fun is that you accually have to know how to fly and navigate ( not saying you don't). But it's a very hardcore game. Just ask someone on the server for help. Maybe they will let you fly on there wing for a while to learn the land.

@commisarmike More lift needed, at slower speeds, compared to the speed and power of planes today.

@SEAetos people still play?

Nice use of the Battle of Britain music.

@SEAetos I will do that :) I'm also thinkin about getting APB, but haven't decided on that for sure.

@zombiehunter96 Then make sure you get the Iron Cross Edition. It just came out today. It is the same game, but has included a years worth of updates, plus about 8 planes. (planes normaly cost about $7 per plane. If you fly online, look me up and we will wing up together.

@SEAetos Money to buy the game :) I'll get it soon.
I didn't see the T&T server when I tried multiplayer for the first time yesterday. I joined the Syndicate server I believe. Anyway, it had your hardcore settings like most of the servers and I for the life of me don't know how to find the action. I flew around for about 15-20 minutes looking for the fight and never found it since there were no map icons to direct me to the action. How do you figure out where you are on the map?

@Rastonification First, the T&T server is long gone... I have not flown in awhile, but the Syndicate is pretty popular. Try to study the landmarks before you take off and what direction you need to fly. (See the mission description). Also good to wait for a vet to take off and follow them since they probably know the map and mission objectives better. There are a couple severs that use icons. Start with those and work your way up.
