  • what's all this about?

  • The bit about musicians having to provide provenance of every piece of wood in their vintage instruments is a brilliant piece of propaganda. But that's all it is.

  • Justin nailed it. Just like his playing on that old red ES-335.

Well, OK.....not quite "nailed"...It wasn't an AK-47. I'm sure Justin saw enough of those in the "Prague Spring" of 1968...plus tanks...but it was AR-15s the Feds used to raid Gibson.

  • The rain forests are disappearing and to do nothing at all about it would be a bigger crime. I don't think this is a political think. I thinking is strictly about protecting endangered species, and some people just don't care if everything but humans go extinct.

  • I'm glad legends and stars within the music industry like Moody Blues guitarist Justin Hayward are speaking out against this tyrannical madness! Justin didn't touch upon the REAL reason the "Lacy Act" is being enforced by the Obama admin...it's a most blatant form of crony capitalism, wherein companies who haven't contributed to his campaign are being harrassed and bullied. Total mafia-style seizure of all control of every industry. Shameful!! Justin, thanks for standing against the power grab.

  • @DavePerry2012 U R sooooo right!

  • They could do a lot more to protect endangered tropical hardwood by raiding and shutting sown McDonald's.

  • Thats the Lacy Act a federal law if your traveling with old guitars to airports bring proof when you bought them
