Old Crashed Car, Roadside Dumps of the Santa Cruz Mtns

Another movie in my Roadside Dumps of the Santa Cruz Mountains series. This one looks like a car flew off the road and hit a tree in the fourties and its still sitting where it landed many years ago. The engine and interior have been stripped many years ago.

Its near the corner of 236 and hwy 9. Was driving down hill and probably flew off the road and hit the tree in the passenger side. I wonder if anybody was hurt.

there was a old 40 years old car found about 10 years ago in very tall weeds and brush off the road quater mile.People were clearing for a trail and bingo found the old junker creapy they found 2 skeletons inside the dental records ID the bodies of 2 people missing since 1962 and was never found what a mistery find ..sends chills down my back

@deannaber I love true stories like that too. Send it too me if you find it. I can see that happening that old house is own by some one and they don't know it like people owning 500 acors of woods and never knows what on it like that old house hid away with growth for many years.

@1968DodgePolara It is creepy thanks for the responce :) I am always interested in stories like that!! There is another i read aprox 15 yrs ago ?it was a house in the woods that was covered by the growth ,and it was from the early 1900s or so? a house!! anyway everything was intact like the family up and left ? and was accidently found many years later nin a remote part of the forest the car too amazing wish i could find that story ?there were pictures been trying to find info no luck...

@deannaber I don't remember where it was but it was a murder case because the skulls had two bullet holes in the back of the head and it was thought they were killed by the Mafia but one thing they did hide it very well. I never forgot that bizzare but true stories that I read still sends chills down my back.

hey if i were you i would probably want to maybe take the hood, the diver door, the driver fender, and a couple things from the inside and clean them up and you could sell them to someone who is restoring a similar car that way it wouldnt be such a waste
