150 Hp Type IV high performance engine For sale. The video may be loud because the Exhaust was removed just prior to shooting the video. I didn't want to run the engine for very long without the exhaust so I'll try to get it reinstalled again soon so I can take a better video.

0 miles on rebuild with 2 hr test run time.

  • Hi there. There's a couple things you'll have to do. If you shoot me over an email address I can give you an idea of what you'll be getting into. Mike

  • @schantzmd ,,hi there I have exactly the same question..2.0 bus engine into bug..how doable it is in order to have a closeable trunk??

  • Hi there. In order to fit this in you bug you'll have to either do a Cali-Conversion or install a Raby DTM kit. The Cali-Conversion is cheaper but more labor intensive and requires you to cut and weld a type I cooling system to type IV tins and fabricate a generator mount. You'll also have to remove the pancake style fan assembly and replace it with a type I style crank pulley. There's a couple other little things too but these boxes don't allow a lot to be typed, Thanks, Mike.
