Perhaps there's just too many words to say in such a short time. Most times, the script writer would write a script without taking into consideration the time limitation the talent has. I have read a 45 seconds script with only 27 secs available time code and I can tell you safely that it's hard and most times we have no choice BUT to slur the words. To make things worst, Aznil is on TV which is even difficult as the editor can't cut and paste ( unlike the conventional audio voice-overs. )

It is not about his accent or broken english . He is trying to speak CLEARLY that made him speak a bit awkward.

He wasn't speaking broken English. Clearly you do not know how to assess whether a person is speaking broken English or not, Aznil in this video was speaking perfect English. The only issue is that he may have sounded a little bit tongue-tied.. or trying too hard to make an accent. And there is clearly a difference between struggling with an accent, and broken English.
Ok that's it jangan marah ok. hahahaha.
