I WAS NOT PREPARED TO HEAR THIS. THIS IS SIMPLY PERFECT. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS NOW. I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH, BUT THIS JUST COMPLETELY FLOORED ME. I CAN'T BELIEVED I'VE BEEN LIVING WITHOUT THIS. I JUST LEARNED SOMETHING I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT MUSIC!!!!

I will, thank you. Those songs remind me of my childhood. My father used to play them everytime and ask me to danse (I know, how mortifying).

@circeaz2007 Point is: KSK might have done it as early as the late 1950's with the Ballets National and Balla already did it with Orchestre Jardin (SLP2, mid 1960's would be my guess). RadioAfrica1 has done some serious research in Conakry and is responsible for a wonderful discography on the web. Google Syliphone discography and I bet you'll find it. Anyway, he's the expert.

Thanks for those mandé music. I wanted to know if Sory Kandia sang this first or Balla et ses Balladins?
