As the Marine Corps Birthday approaches I wanted to remember the Marines and FMF Sailors of Vietnam. The Medal of Honor recipients frequently say the medal was in honor of their fellow Marines and Sailors. In that spirit here is a tribute to the Medal of Honor recipients of Nam USMC and FMF Sailors. Semper Fidelis.
KIA - Killed in Action DOW - Died of Wounds
Rank in () denotes rank at time of action for which MOH was awarded.

21 Medals of Honor
52 Distinguished Service Crosses
560 Silver Stars
4,000 Bronze Stars
1,200 Oak Leaf Clusters
9,486 Purple Hearts
And they had 800 men killed while trying to save the Lost Battalion of 200. Go for broke was their motto, meaning they would fight until the last man drop.
Quite Amazing.

I was looking through the Army Medal of Honor Lists the other day and I found that that the unit that had the most MOHs were the 442nd Infantry All Japanese American Unit (Mostly Japanese, couple of other Asians descent too). Most decorated unit in U.S. Army History.
I had no idea until now, maybe you should make one vid for them.
