Groove is in the heart - Kaossilator and Electric guitar

Messing around with Dee lite's 'Groove is in the heart' (1990).

Impatient people might want to skip to 2:50.

The story behind:
I Wanted for a long time to upload a video of me improvising with my guitar and the Kaossilator.
Everything I did was very boring as the loop in the Kaossilator is quite short. You can't really play any chord progressions, only the same chord over and over and over and over.

I tried to think of a song that has a single chord and found Groove is in the heart. It's the same chord and the same bass line all through the song.

It wasn't easy making 7 minutes of the same chord not boring or annoying.

I hope you know the original song as it should contribute to the fun.

At the time I was a hobbyist wanting to be a pro and at this time I can't even call myself a hobbyist as I've became a Character animator.

Perhaps I'll grab my guitar again when my newborn kid will be old enough for me to teach her guitar.

It's not a sad story. I'm happy with where I'm at.

It's been a while since I've played it and I don't really remember.

Unfortunately I don't have the Kaossilator here with me in this apartment so I can't check.
