Knee Boarding - Hawkesbury River - 18-10-09

After a little coaching our little bloke (10yrs) had a go at the Kneeboard for the very first time last Sunday afternoon (18-10-09). While he was as keen as mustard before hand to have a go at the kneeboard when it came time to get in the car and head down to the river it was a very different story with him being really apprehensive about it and not wanting to do it at all. It was on and off most of the day with him deciding he would give it a go and then at the last minute deciding he didn't want to do it. He eventually decided he would give it a go after all even though he was still very uncertain about it all and not really all that keen. He started off very slowly but after a while of just taking it slowly he could not remember what all the fuss was about and he loved it not being in the least keen to get off it when it was time for home. He can not wait now until the next time and has not stopped asking when we can go again.
