hi , good on you for posting these vids, I think you and others like you are slowly getting the message across that transgendered people are nothing to be feared (in most cases). I admire your girlfriend for her loyalty towards you and I wish you both happiness. i just noticed you posted this in 09 are you still with your girlfriend?

@craZEEbob1 actually we're not together anymore. we broke up in the summer of 2010. but her partner now is also a transman. a lot of respect is due to the partners of transpeople since they often get lost in the whole chaos that is the transition for the other person. it's wonderful to have people like this in our community, and it's important that we as transpeople pay attention to the needs of those who love and support us as well :)

Thank you so much for posting this. I'm in a similar situation (I had a girlfriend and now suddenly I have a boyfriend - except not so suddenly) and it was just... nice to hear someone else say they'd gone through the same thing, and had the same concerns that seem so shallow sometimes - how do you maintain honesty about conflicting identities? It's exactly the same as my life, right down to the timing of coming out, first as bi then as queer... So thanks. I needed this video right now.

my girlfriend in ftm and i am a femme lesbian that is only attracted to transmen. I am really happy with him though he is amazing and we work through are crazy issues. he has some massive jealousy issues when it comes to other men and i dated some men in the past but I am gay and totally in love with jb but she thinks i rather have a real penis you know? Kudos to you for making this. I needed it. I need more friends that can get these issues you know?

@jenntrae12 Well, considering the fact that her boyfriend was there the whole time, I don't think he minds much. Coming from a transman who doesn't mind being called a tranny, I understand why a lot of transgender individuals do think that term is disrespectful. but I find that when people use tranny as a negative, it just makes them look ridiculous and childish. and when people use it like she did, it's just a way to lighten up something that is otherwise really serious.

i would suggest calling your boyfriend a Trans-male or just your boyfriend. tranny kinda downplays on transgender people. tranny makes it seem like a cool thing to do. its not. most trans people are born that way or end uo feeling that way most of their life. is more respectable to just call them trans or in your case and my case just are boyfriend. trans-males dont like to be reminded that they were ever girls. not trying to bash on you. just an insight.
