A couple of hints for flute players who want to start playing jazz. This was recorded late at night so I'm not worried about making a good sound, just getting into the habit of internalizing the rhythm instead of leting your fingers dictate the tempo... and exploring the individual colours of various notes relative to a minor 7 chord.

  • @TheFlutevisions : Sorry for the delay - I actually said "C minor pentatonic"... which is the term generally used in jazz for 1,b3,4,5,b7

  • Nice style/ musical ...many classical players are poor at Jazz ....to fixed in rhythm and tone colouring.
