If you are a Liberal you will view these shows as being Racist but if you are a conservative you will view it as Pure entertainment. I'm sure the actors doing the show would tell the Racist crowd to stuff it because they liked what they were doing and getting paid. Back in the 50's most shows only lasted 2 or 3 yrs--that's the way it was. I'm glad I can revisit these shows. As Fredd G Sanford would say often CASE CLOSED

The FUNNIEST show on TV EVER! In @What way is this Classic Show "Racist"?
An ALL Black cast in Prestigious roles.....Sanford and Son RIPPED this series off.and NO one called it "Racist"! It employed many Black actors..unheard of at the time....Grow up people!

I watched this with several older black women in the 1950s who loved this show.They were devastated when it was taken off the air.

I am a 60 year old white male and this show was one of my favorites! It made me laugh a lot and the actors were as good as any others at the time.

why can't this be on T.V. because political correctness?... I think it is very funny. Color should not enter in to the question. Must me the hypocrits like the "REV." and I use the trem loosely, Sharpton, and the Holyer than thou... Jessy Jackson. Oh what a joke those two are. Maybe they can team up and start a show called (THE Sharpton & Jackson show. ) yes I think that would work. hahaha
