Note Paul didnt say 'If you feed enough starving children. If you clothe enough naked homeless. If you sell all you have and give it to the Salvation Army'

Nope! Paul noted 1 SINGLE ACTION or WORK which granted 1 SINGLE transference of Grace resulting in what he called SALVATION or to be theological about 'SPIRITUAL LIFE' from spiritual death.

    1. Belief

    2. Confession

    3. Salvation

    4. Righteousness

    5. Holiness (which are works because of salvation not unto salvation)

  • @pandirasbox

Paul writing to the underground network of Christians in Rome. Clearly Paul believed SALVATION was an event based upon 1 SINGLE moment in time founded upon Jesus sacrificial offering to the Father. According to this Paul is saying SALVATION comes this way....

    Romans 10:9

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Righteousness is not given as a GIFT granted by unmerited favor in ANY OTHER belief system than that which was given to the disciples and through their Apostollic work transmuted to the gentiles.

Young mind. You do not understand faith nor do you have the faintest concept of what substance faith is created from. So to explain to you what the Apostles taught concerning faith and works would be a waste of time.

I will say this. The 'works' which are taught by even the slightest 'Christian' brand of principles are shared by those in the Muslim world. So the search is not in discerning what is similar but what is different. And that is represented in 1 word...GRACE.

  • @Davemustang2600 No I am a Gnostic

  • That quote of scripture has nothing to do with "faith alone", no John did not believe in this concept

  • @pandirasbox

    John believed in Sola Scriptura.

    I John 2:27

'As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.'

  • @pandirasbox

I love the way you dumb ill informed or rather to say brain washed catholics throw around the latin phrase 'sola scriptura.' Know why? Id be more than glad to tell you. The term sola scriptura was first coined by Martin Luther as his HIGH criticism of the sloppy and superstitiious interpretations of scripture. So when you little catholics are throwing around that phrase do not forget it was first coined to mock the catholic church's understanding and in no way venerates it!

Catholicism is the spirit of Anti Christ in the earth. Christ ISNT a broken body nailed to a cross. In fact this is why I view Crucifixes as being demonic because Jesus is exalted and seated at the right hand of the Father ABOVE ALL THINGS even the pitiful lip service of that roman catholic whore.

The Catholic church gives Christ His deity by simultaneously robbing Him of his Lordship and His purpose in coming to man incarnated in the flesh. The RCC is anti-Christ.

  • @pandirasbox

Dude I realize youre a monk with his head stuck up the popes hind end but all the catholic delusional claims of who is and who isnt catholic does not change the stats.

Europe according to stats delved out over the past 8 years holds at just shy of 3% affiliating themselves with Christianity.

Catholicism is hedonism masquerading as worshipers of Christ but are nothing more than an angel of light whos core is as dark as its history.
