I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio. I was eleven, and my dad turned the volume way up, grinned, and said "Steve Winwood, I love this guy." Problem was, I sucked at remembering names...or lyrics...or titles. All I could remember was the synth solo. It took me almost a decade to figure out where to find the recording for this damn song. I love it so.

The original video is a bit better in the regard of "lip syncing" of the instruments. This was cut down from the original, longer video so they could fit in the 4:11 edit.

Why does that douche with the guitar keep pretending to be playing it? Clearly they have him at about .0001 volume, yet he insists on looking like a badass. Captain Eyepatch is more interesting... leave the showmanship to the Steve Winwood. It's not "The Steve Winwood Band" for a reason...

Stevie Winwood (born 12 May 1948) is an English international recording artist whose career spans nearly 50 years. Do you think he would be in his great condition if he had been on the road your speaking of? And you are not to judge anyone but yourself.
