@rachellannetheblonde I am inspired by your story. I am also in recovery from meth addiction. I have just over two years. I see you wrote this 9 months ago. I pray you are just about two years now.

@rachellannetheblonde Thank you...as I sit in treatment today, I also am listening to words I could have scribbled down to define the last few years of my life. The tears that fall as I write and listen do so for two reasons: 1 is because of the voice of God which is singing to me and the other, for your strength which I too hope to be enveloped by. Thank you and many more years of Recovery to us both :)

I'm 17 years old, female. When I was 14 I was put in rehab for severe meth addiction, which almost took my life many times. I have grown up with Tracey Chapman thanks to my mother. I heard this song while i was in treatment, and listened to it today, it defines exactly what I've been through the last four years I've been aware of my addiction. After many relapses, I've now been sober for over a year. I listen to this song for hope and to remember where I've been. <3
