Tiffin Capoeira.wmv

The Cultural Center of Tiffin Schools hosted a Capoeira Workshop as part of this year's focus on Brazil at the Tiffin YMCA Saturday, February 27. The guest presenter was Mestre Caboquinho director of the Detroit TABCAT Club. Several members of his organization and from a Capoeira club in Columbus helped.

This video shows the students as they participate in the final sparring exercises.

Many members of the Tiffin Dragons Martial Arts Club participated, as did members of Heidelberg University's MMA club. It was a fun and informative workshop. Thank you Mestre Caboquinho, his students, and Joe Moore, Director of the Cultural Center, who organized the event.

Congrats on winning at the GLIAC Championships. It would have been nice if you could have joined in the workshop too, but you can't be in two places at once.

Im really upset i had to miss this! but had to represent tiffin in the gliac championships (which i won) but would have loved to participate and learn!
