This is Pete's rhythm part (Leslie West is doing the soloing). Kind of repetitive, but it's a good strumming exercise and you can fool around with the basic chord shapes.

@rootboyslim Absolutely Agree !!!! Privettricker (I still am mystified as to where that name came from??) is the BEST; Great songs, lots of 'em; Straight to the point; very accurate, etc,etc. What an asset.

What is the name of the chord you open with? It sort of looks like a powerchord.

@TheMaddenfan123 That's an A5 chord, which Pete used pretty often. It's an open A string, D/G strings at the 2nd fret, then B/E strings at the 5th fret. That chord really is the core of Pete's rock playing. He uses the same chord with a capo, too.
