Four red bellied pacus (were) cramped in a 55 gallon tank ranging from 6.5 to 7.5 inches. Located in Corsicana, TX (60 miles South of Dallas). These fish have been rehomed to larger tanks since this video has been made. Thank you for everyone who offered their tankspace to these awesome fish. :)

  • is a 60 gallon big enough? even a 70?

  • @ned987 It wouldn't be big enough for long term. Might last them a year (or less) before they outgrow it. 1 or 2 might be ok in there until you get something bigger. But I'd look for at least 100gal, so they can grow and swim comfortably. 100-150 might work as long as no fish start bullying.

  • Can you not read the video details? Can you not see the video was made 2 YEARS AGO??? "These fish have been rehomed to larger tanks since this video has been made." PLEASE READ VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS BEFORE LEAVING DUMB COMMENTS.

  • what are the difference between pacu and pirahnas iv got a 16" pacu and a man just give me 2 baby pacu which are 6" but im not so sure they are pacu now can anyone help asap plz

  • Pirahnas have much larger jaws for meat. Pacu have smaller teeth for cutting fruit/veggies. Pirahnas keep the silver/orange color. Pacu lose the red belly and turn dark grey/black when they mature. Baby pacu might be more aggressive than adult, so they may fight with oscars or eat small fish.
