@mckbran read a physics textbook, if this had have been real, braking would be the best thing to do, he wouldve transferred force from the car to her at the moment of impact following that moment the car and woman would be traveling at the same or similar speed, THEN if he braked he would decelerated hopefully faster than the lady and prevented running over her, not braking would be the worst thing to do, she would've had her 4 limbs torn off by the not so spacious and safe area under a moving
