Little Drummer Boy

Another from my 2004 recording called "December". This was arranged, recorded and performed a chilly winter night in Nashville, TN. The snare drum in the song is actually a slowed down sample from a Rush song called "Heresy", though you'd never know it.

I remember a holiday concert in 7th grade, where I had to play the snare drum part during this song, and the announcer said something like "this song features our own little drummer boy". My Grandmother never forgot that and would remind me of it for years and years. She passed away on Dec. 16th, 2002, and though I didn't set out to make this in her honor, it seems overwhelmingly appropriate. Thanks for listening, and Happy Holidays all!
