This is part 2 from our Sunday at Black Starr video. This past Sunday was a very important day for Tim and his Byron P-51 Mustang Man O War, after 20 years of flying this beautiful model Tim flew his 100th flight with this airplane. Tim flew his 100th flight in formation with Brians giant scale A6M Zero. It was a beautiful blue sky day to have a 100th flight!

Here is another video of this Byron P-51 Mustang:

  • I can't imagine a more special 100th flight than this one. I knew I was stingy with the flight time for a reason. Thank you Scott!

  • It was a great day to have a 100th flight!

  • love your mustang simply beautiful

  • No matter how pretty it is or how much detail is in it, no matter how well it flies or what incredible maneuvers it can perform, without that iconic monster prop on the nose, it's only a P-51 Gelding!

  • Sir, I became a fan of your Mustang for it with superb color and more thanks to you, you gave me the courage to build one. I am 13 year old boy.

  • "Oh it gets a drink too" Damn right deserves one!

  • Hey Tim Are You Interested another Byron Kit just like it i have one for sale all original

  • Glad to see some still around flying. I think the P-51 and the F4U are the most bought and crashed planes hands down. Now I wish I had bought the Byron Pitts S2. that was one sweet looking kit.

Nothing looks better then a scale P-51 flying like the real thing. its art in motion!

  • i got chills.. i'm waiting for my P51 MKII PTS. it will arrive to morrow i guess. Never tryed in real life only on simulator. But i love this bird and hope my maiden flight goes well

  • BAd ASS!

  • 100 flight on that old girl very very nice!! I'm bring back a BYRON F-16 with a XPS elec. system.

  • Without a doubt, the P-51 is a timeless classic. Whether by skill or luck, the various elements of this aircraft blend harmoniously into a high performance machine of striking beauty. One of the elements that lends itself in no small part to the appearence and appeal of the aircraft is the huge 4 blade prop. How ever perfect any other details on the model may be, seeing it with a popsicle stick on the nose that's supposed to pass for a propeller is irreconcilable.
