Yes, The Father made us for relationship, not religion. He made us so that he could talk to us, spend time with us, walk with us. Not so that we would just to do the right thing. It's not a belief system, but a relation system that God works in. You WILL NOT make it to heaven by being religious. The only way is to know God personally, and to have a relationship with him. If you don't have a relationship how will he know you? You will hear, depart from me, I do not KNOW you.

Yes, but religion implies that it is just something you do continuously (i.e. "I brush my teeth religiously.". So, that being said, most Christians do not consider themselves religious, including myself, because we are not doing what we do because we are devoted to it, we do it because we love Jesus and God. That is why we are FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST and not just religious people. :)

every religion is a relationship... Buddha... Nature... Christ... God... Jehovah.... its all the same. a relationship. religion. man and a higher deity of some sort. so yeah ur right, but tht is not quite some new revolutionary idea either. you share tht same opinion with wiccans... whom most christians will say they hate... hmmm. (i am unbiased against Christianity. i only have problems with those who judge another belief. decide it is worth less...)

@Xanimate911 - Wow, what you said really opened my eyes to something. Ur right bout the relationship thing- it's not new. But Christianity is unique in that Jesus came claiming to be the son of God-proving it by His miracles and good works. He died- like He said He would and rose like He said He would. And no other religion has a Living God that wiped their sins away and only requires you believe. Someone had to take care of the sin for us to have a relationship with God. Jesus did that.

but if you really believe that your faith is right, that it is true, then other faiths would be worth less by definition
