Hi, vdp4ever
Well it's my first e-kit, so I can't compare.
For me, it's a cheap kit that can be improved with a simple tunning of pads. Yamaha drum module is a very good machine and allows an important extension of the kit.
The complete set has a good response and touch.
The worst part is hi-hat controller and kick pedal. They just fullfil their function.
