Polar bear and her cub

A polar bear plays with her cub in a lightly wooded area in the snow. The pair filmed during a trip undertaken by Peter Ewins and Rhys Gerholdt of WWF Canada in March 2011, when they travelled to Wapusk National Park with an ABC News crew from New York. The trip to the world's most concentrated area of maternity dens for polar bears, was made to observe the polar bears and their cubs as they emerged from the deep snow dens.
