From where have the democrats compromised in this last minute debt limit debate?

Listen to Jesse's eloquent use of his three minutes and you will come out with a vivid picture of the society that most democrats envision (if I may be so bold as to speak for most democrats on this occasion).

If our country could reduce our energy bill by 90%, we might be able to achieve everything Jesse talks about; except for maybe the constitutional amendments he proposes.
