The C Viper charged focus attack, Taskmaster unblockable 2nd hit, the hail storm DHC dirt nap, and the she hulk air grab super setups (with tighter timing) are true unescapables. Everything else is escapable.

At least with this it will show that only hard core phoenix users will be more of a challenge to catch then the phoenix scrubs, I approve of this video.

MSP = Magneto Storm Psylocke in MvC2.

Though to answer your question, simply chip with fireballs or hit your block combined with grabs. Running away from decent Phoenixs doesn't work because she has enough options to slowly kill you. It doesn't help that if you are running away trying to not attack, its that much easier for Phoenix to mix you up.

Well, it's pretty much a trade-off.

On one hand, the assist empowers the characters they do play.

On the other hand, they have a noticeable weak link in their team that just begs to be exploited.

At least non of the assist teams are as strong as old MSP.

@metaXzero I agree, it's their own fault. However, I believe that when you can do that and get away with it *in tournaments*, something is wrong.

I don't see the problem with people using characters for their assists and not learning the character. Their loss when that character one way or another is putt on point and they get blown up.

Does it make Sentinel a need to every team or make one combination broken and dominant? From my view, and from the way tourneys have been going, no it doesn't. It's an annoyingly effective assists, but its not some unbeatable thing in dire need of patching. Neither is Gustaff flame. At least not in comparison to Wolverine or Phoenix.

Tron's "fine" until people play keep-away against her. Then she's just like Haggar. And Haggar on point is far from "fine". -cont-

@metaXzero Like I said, Sentinel Force idiot proofs basically every pressure game there is, and more or less guarantees a throw combo if they block. Also Tron is fine on point with anyone that knows how to use her.

Also lariat does NOT have more invincibility in practical terms. it's simple to bait and punish a Haggar assist, yet basically impossible versus someone using Tron that knows what they're doing. Look at all the people that use Tron even though they don't actually play Tron.

I hate Sentinel Force, but it's still not patch worthy. It's a good assist, but like Tron, its on a meh character, and it gets blown up by beams. UNLIKE Tron, Sentinel isn't a meat sponge, so he can't take as much of a beating.

I'll give you Wolverine

I'd rather fight a bunch of Gustaff Flame/Sentinel Force teams then any team that has that red headed bitch in the back.
